Caliche in SpaceTech

At Caliche, with advancements in biotechnology, we have set out to become pioneers in space biotechnology. We intend to develop and deploy industrial applications of microorganisms in space. Caliche is pioneering microbial space-tech in India.

Caliche is poised to be the first Indian Company to send Microbes to space through its Project BeyonEa.

Near-Term Objective:

Sustainable construction on Extraterrestrial bodies using Extreme-Environment Microbes. We are investigating the material nucleation and formation of bio-cement by microbial activity in extraterrestrial conditions against those in the earth’s atmospheric conditions.
